U.S. POS Terminals

Legacy POS Terminals
If you have an older POS device, you will need to upgrade your POS terminal to ensure you are TLS v1.2/SHA-2 compliant. Please contact your account representative for more information. The following terminals are considered legacy devices:
  • Hypercom
    • T-4220**
    • T-4230 GPRS wireless
    • M-4230 GRPS wireless
  • Verifone
    • Omni 3750 IP
    • VX510 IP
    • VX570 IP**
    • VX610 CDMA wireless
  • RDM
    • Synergy II*
*If you are processing transactions on the RDM Synergy II, you will need to be upgrade both your POS device and check reader.
** Hypercom T-4220 is supported as a non-EMV lodging solution. The VX570IP is supported for a non-EMV fleet application.

Ingenico Telium and Verifone Evolution POS Terminals
The following terminals will need a software update to ensure you remain in compliance with the latest communication security protocols:
  • Ingenico iCT220 (with or without external PIN pad)
  • Ingenico iCT250 (with or without external PIN pad)
  • Ingenico iWL220 Bluetooth™
  • Ingenico iWL250 GPRS
  • Verifone VX520 (with or without PIN pad)
  • Verifone VX680 (Bluetooth™ and GPRS models)
*You will need to upgrade to the VX520 if you support Electronic Check Service (ECS).
